a small altering little bottle...

It’s Monday morning and where am I? I’m at home dealing with a slow digestive tract. For the past month and a half I suppose, I have doing the magnesium citrate thing. On Saturday and Sunday my life revolves around ten ounces of magnesium citrate. The purpose of this is to clean out my GI tract of any food that did not get digested. Generally it should take the average person several hours for the magnesium citrate to take effect. It takes me anywhere from twelve to twenty-four hours for it to start working. I make the biggest ordeal out of taking it the magnesium citrate. You would thing I had to drink a gallon of it. I procrastinate in taking it; I will stand there and just look at the bottle. I gag, I grit my teeth, and it is awful. You would think after how many times I have had to drink it I would be use to it. The bad part about it is how it makes me feel after I take it. I am miserable. Overall it could be worse. I could be using the big jug of the Golytely.

Cedar Point

Cedar Point was awesome! I have never been to an amusement park such as that. We have watched shows on the Travel Channel that featured the roller coasters at Cedar Point. When pulling up to the park, you see the roller coasters and they are much bigger than they are portrayed on tv. The park is located on Lake Erie in Sandusky, Ohio. The weather was hot but we did have a breeze coming off the lake so that was nice.

Cedar Point has seventeen roller coasters, ten of which are steel. Two of the roller coasters are taller than the Statue of Liberty, Millennium Force and Top Thrill Dragster. One of the first things we rode was the Power Tower. It had two ride options. You could either be shot 240 feet up or are dropped 240 feet down. We did both and being shot up in the air was a unique adrenaline rushed that I liked.

Out of all the roller coasters I rode, I have two favorites, Millennium Force and Top Thrill Dragster. Millennium Force is 310 feet tall and drops at an 80-degree angle reaching speeds of 93mph. When we were getting on the train, I looked and the train immediately goes up the hill. The hill is huge! As your going up, the closer you get to the top the faster it goes. We rode in the front of the train and it was a so much fun!

Top Thrill Dragster was indescribable. This ride reaches heights of 420 feet and goes from 0 to 120mph in three seconds. That is moving on. We rode in the front of the car, oh my. It was totally worth the wait. The speed, the height, it was wonderful!!

The trip to Cedar Point was wonderful. We got to spend two days in the park. If I am fortunate enough to receive a pacemaker it will be extremely hard to give up riding roller coasters. However the benefits will hopefully outweigh the cons.
